Well said Ben. I had to laugh after the Rutland meeting because I was talking to Marry Morrissey and a friend was talking to Armstrong. "People are upset, 500 signed a petition", and on and on. So I asked why did only 40 show up at the meeting in Bennington and also in Rutland. No answer. The answer is, besides a few people that always complain no matter what, or just always complain about Laroche, the vast majority of hunters are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and are happy. Fawn recruitment is up and more and bigger bucks are being seen and shot.

We can't help the winters but we can help the habitat and deer. Cut some trees and plant something!

I put in for N as a second or third chioce for a doe tag. I'll come help you out if I get one Ben!
