Message: OK - FYI - second vote on this year's deer rule at the FWB meeting last night resulted in no substantial changes from the first vote. Much discussion about number of doe permits planned for WMU N as well as possibility of opening WMU D2 to archery doe hunting. Proposed changes in both issues were unsuccessful. There was one change to add into the rule the diagram showing how to measure length of points (from Vermont Guide Book) but this represents NO CHANGE to current rule. The rule will now go to legislative committee for their concurrence/approval and then the third vote by the FWB to become official. There is a pretty slim chance of seeing any further change to this rule for this year. Ed Replies to this post No replies yet |
