HAT is a non-profit corporation
organized under the laws of Vermont.
In its representative capacity on
behalf of outdoor sportsman, when appropriate, HAT takes steps through
legal avenues on the state and federal levels to advocate the rights of
its membership. By actively pursuing the protection of statutory,
common law and constitutional rights, and responding to threats to these
rights, HAT strives to preserve and protect the important traditions
embodied in hunting, angling and trapping.
